I had started watching Hunter - Season 7: Disk 1 as it's one of my favorite shows of the 80's and, even in its final season, Fred Dryer still does an excellent job as the titular character. It was great background noise for painting some greens on one of the Ours Is Not works. Thought I feel I completely missed on my choice of greens. I leaned them too much toward yellow when they, clearly, should have been more toward blue. This was done in an attempt to match the greens already on the piece. It's a failure that will be resolved later.
Using the greens that I had already mixed, I added some lines to a couple abstract pages I've been working with just to see what may happen. I'm not sure of the results I do like them taking a step forward.
I also added a few washes of an ultramarine blue / chromatic gray #6 to the "sexual" piece. Doesn't seem to have taken but I feel it's closer to what I aim for. It was a short work night and a bit of a disappointing one but those are gonna happen.
I finished the session by taking another photo of works stacked on the easel as well as my rack(s) that contain some papers, drawing implements, brushes, pencils, paints, etc. All were done with the flash on. As I'm no photographer by any means, the flash (though diabolical) does allow me a more even toned and crisp photo than the ones I've tried indoors, freehand with manual options.
